Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement

QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

  • To manage and maintain agency compliance to ensure quality of services for HCA and the     community it serves.
  • Develop protocols, policies and procedures in effort to enforce and enhance overall quality.
  • Ensure continuous efforts from all agency personnel to prioritize supports that enhance a quality life.

It is the goal of Helping Celebrate Abilities (HCA) to treat all individuals served with fairness and professionalism. As an organization, we believe that each person served has the right to receive care and treatment that is best suited to their needs, and which is skillfully, safely, and humanely administered with respect for their dignity and personal integrity. Should an accident, injury or other untoward event occur, the event shall immediately be reported, documented and thoroughly investigated. The purpose for reporting, documenting and investigating incidents is to enhance the quality of care provided to persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities who receive services within our settings and programs, to protect them from harm and to ensure that they are free from abuse and neglect. If you believe that your rights have been violated, or a concern or complaint you have regarding services or supports is unresolved, you may file a grievance.
